She and her husband James Howe wrote two books, Bunnicula: A Rabbit-Tale of a Mystery and Teddy Bear's Scrapbook.
She died of cancer at age 31 before they were published in 1979 and 1980. She graduated from Boston University and worked as a theater actress before becoming a writer.
